The State Fair Combo Car
We stored this car in the Rpundhouse for years till we realized there were several higher priority car restoration projects.
The car is now in private hands an being restored as part of a private railroad collection.
For a period of time after the car's arrival at Prairie Village the car was stored outside and the elements were not kind to it.
The car is housed in the Prairie Village Roundhouse preventing any further deterioration.
Work was started on the restoration of the car but continual more pressing work has prevented any serious attempt to restart the project.
One job that was started was to recover the seats. They were originally leather and had been chewed up over a winter season it is suspected by racoons.
